Atelier Derbier is the independent practice of Pierre Derbier, a California-licensed architect with 18+ years of professional experience in residential and commercial architecture.

Pierre's experience spans the full architectural project cycle, from concept design and development through construction documentation, permitting, and construction. His background includes high-end custom residential projects, residential additions and remodels, ADUs, commercial interiors, and tenant improvements.

After more than a decade working in Los Angeles, including senior project leadership roles within a high-end residential practice, Pierre now works independently with clients and project teams in California while based in Europe.

His approach combines design sensitivity with practical technical knowledge, with an emphasis on clear communication, thoughtful detailing, coordinated documentation, and solutions that can ultimately be built.
